F.A.Q.

-Where are you located?

Please make sure you know where you're going BEFORE your appointment. If we're with a client, we can't help you. Not to mention, we aren't a GPS.

We are located at 17871 IN 23 South Bend, Indiana 46635, next to DeVon Builders.

 

Please use Google Maps to get to us. We are currently working on getting our address corrected on Apple Maps. Apple Maps will NOT get you here.

-Where do I park?

We share the parking lot with DeVon Builders. You're welcome to park in any parking space. Please make sure it is an ACTUAL parking spot. You'd be surprised how many people park in the middle of no where. I wish I was joking.

 

-Can I bring my child to my appointment?

We DON'T allow children under the age of 12 in the salon. You will be asked to reschedule if you bring children under 12 in.

Are minors allowed to have an appointment at Skin House?

Yes, but they must be at least 12 years of age. A guardian will have to sign a consent form for you and accompany you for the duration of the appointment. This means the parent or guardian will HAVE to stay for the appointment.  

Do you sell giftcards?

Yes! But you have to reach out to Danielle or Karen to schedule a time to come in to purchase one.

-Why is there a non-refundable deposit?
This is to ensure we are paid and to ensure you show up to your appointment. This goes towards your appointment total.

-Is there a deposit for every appointment?
You bet.


-Will I get my deposit refunded if I need to cancel/reschedule?
No. Please keep in mind that if you’re a person who is unlikely to keep an appointment or has a frequently changing schedule, this is not the place for you. HOWEVER, if Danielle or Karen need to reschedule you will receive your deposit back, or can transfer it to the rescheduled appointment.

 

-How is deposit taken?/What payment methods do you take?
Danielle takes card, cash or Venmo. 

Karen takes Apple Pay, card, cash, or Venmo.

-How do I schedule an appointment?
Please reach out to Danielle or Karen for their specific services to schedule. We do NOT schedule for each other. 

 

-Do you take walk-ins?
Nope. We’re by appointment only,

-What is your late policy?
Clients that are more than 10 minutes late will need to be rescheduled. And yes, you’ll have to do another deposit. So don’t be late!

 

What is your no show policy?

No showing will result in not being able to book another appointment at Skin House.

 

-What is your soliciting/sales policy?

You will be turned down, obviously.
