Hi! My name is Danielle Lacopo. I’m the Owner/Esthetician at Skin House.
I attended Esthetician school in 2021. Best and worst decision of my life. The best, because I’m doing what I love! The worst, because the only Esthetician school around here is awful….by awful I mean traumatic. If you’re in the industry, you know what school I’m talking about-cough cough.
Don't let the above paragraph discourage you! I’ve furthered my education since beauty school and I feel even more confident in what I do! Trust me, I won't make your experience as bad as mine!

My goal is to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible during any waxing or facial service. I want clients to feel heard on their needs AND be educated properly with their skin concerns. I also want my clients to be able to afford services and at home skin care. This is why I use drug store and affordable Korean skin care products during your appointment. I also use these when I develop routines, BUT I'm always happy to look into any products you may be interested in.

All NEW clients have to come in for a consultation prior to booking a treatment. I will book you after your consultation for a treatment, if your skin is eligible!

Facial Consultation - FREE
This is the opportunity for you to come in and discuss your skin concerns and ask questions. We will go over all contraindications to make sure we select the proper treatment for you.

Follow-Up - FREE
This is for clients who are already coming in to see me. We will take time to check-in on the progress of your skin care routine and see if you should make any adjustments, or if you should do any additional treatments. I am happy to go over any additional questions/concerns!

Skin Care Routine - $40
We'll discuss your current routine, allergies, contraindications, medications, etc. and find a routine that fits your specific needs. ​

*Skin care routines will be sent via text. I personalize them to every client.
​*You will get samples, but I do not sell products. I'll send you product recommendations and you can purchase them at your convenience.
​*Skin care routines are included with treatment services for no additional charge. (This service is if you ONLY want a routine.)

Dermaplane - $60
This procedure will remove dead skin and peach fuzz. It'll reveal an overall brighter appearance. Skin products will absorb better and makeup will lay better.
Dermaplaning includes extractions, a hydrating mask, décolleté massage, moisturizer, and SPF.
*Recommended every 4-8 weeks. I do NOT recommend this for people with active skin conditions-acne, rashes, etc.

Basic Facial - $50
This is the facial for people who just want to relax.
This facial includes cleansing of the face, a warm towel compress to prep for extractions (if applicable),a relaxing décolleté massage followed by a mask that is suited for your skin concerns, moisturizer, and SPF.
*Recommended as often as you want to relax.

Acne Facial - $50
I'll start with cleansing your face. Followed by a warm towel compress to prep the skin for extractions. After, we follow with high frequency, (Please make sure to scroll down and read about high frequency, in add-ons to make sure you can do this procedure) a calming mask, décolleté massage, moisturizer and SPF.

*Recommended every 5-6 weeks for people with mild acne. For moderate to severe acne, I recommend every month.

Microdermabrasion - $60
Microdermabrasion uses diamond bit attachments to gently slosh of dead skin cells and sebum. It helps with acne, brightening, discoloration, scarring, and uneven skin tone.
Microdermabrasion is followed with extractions, a hydrating mask, décolleté massage, moisturizer, and SPF.

*Recommended every 4-8 weeks.

Luteal Phase Facial (PMS Facial) - $65
I designed this facial specifically for the women who get breakouts the week before OR during their period, The goal is to minimize what could be bad acne and try to make it more manageable while we are all in this Hell week!
​
I'll start with cleansing your skin, extractions, spot treatments with Microdermabrasion (to get excess oil), High Frequency (Argon Gas - specifically for acne), décolleté massage, moisturizer, and SPF.
​
*Recommended every month.

Preventative Facial - $65
This facial uses a proactive approach to delay/minimize the signs of aging.
​
I'll start with cleansing your skin, extractions (if applicable), Microdermabrasion, High Frequency (Neon Gas - specifically for collagen induction and reducing the signs of aging), a hydrating mask, décolleté massage, moisturizer, and SPF.
​

*Recommended every 4-5 weeks.

Add-Ons:

-Body Facial-$50
Any of my facial services (except a Basic Facial) can be done on the body. I have this as an add-on, because clients will usually do a facial treatment in addition to a body facial.
If you're wanting to do just a body facial, please contact me to schedule a consultation and we can go over treatments and pricing.

This is applicable WITH Microdermabrasion. Dermaplane will be charged at the regular price of $60, otherwise.

This is applicable by itself, with Dermaplaning, or a body facial. ​
*Recommended every 4 weeks for maintenance, but can be done more frequently, depending on skin care goals.

-Botox in the last two weeks

-Braces-(Permanent retainers are fine)

-Couperose skin- (the areas that are couperose free can still be treated)

-Diabetes

-Facial Jewelry-MUST be taken out, before treatment

-Filler in the last two weeks

-Have five or more dental fillings, or bridge work

-Heart conditions

-High blood pressure
​
-Metal pins, rods, or screws anywhere in the body-(IUDs are fine)

-Migraines with or without aura

-Pacemaker

-Pregnancy

-Recent sun exposure

-Rosacea

Extra Information:​
*Every client will get a skin care routine and samples with a facial.
*As weird as it sounds, I also offer to do extractions/services in your ears. This comes with the facial service! You'd be surprised how much stuff is in there!

*Any products I recommend to you, you NEED to patch test. I'll go over how to do this with you at your appointment.​​

Waxing Services:
​
​​Tips:
*Make sure your hair is AT LEAST the length of a grain of rice before your appointment. (I use hard wax and this is the minimum length).
*Make sure to also exfoliate the area to be waxed the day of your appointment. Using a sugar scrub or exfoliating cloth/mitt.
*Failure to exfoliate will mean less hair is removed. I will NOT tweeze the whole area! I'll get hair the wax doesn't grab, but not areas that weren't exfoliated properly!*
*Do NOT trim the areas to be waxed. I will do that for you to ensure hair stays the correct length to wax.
​
*For women who are NOT on birth control, make sure to book your appointment for any type of waxing service 1-2 weeks after your period. Anything closer to your period, or if you are on your period will be significantly more painful!
​
*If you want to stay consistent with waxing and see less hair growth overtime, make sure to book your next appointment every 4-6 weeks.
​
*It takes about 3-4 waxes for you start noticing less hair growth.
Exclusions For Waxing:
​
*Please let me know about any of these contraindications. Some waxing can still be done depending on the area and how long it has been since product use, or the condition.
​
-Accutane-must be OFF Accutane for at least a year
​
-Acne Treatments-AHA/BHA, Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, Vitamin C, etc.-wait at least 48 hours
​
-Antibiotics-oral AND topical. You need to be off these for at least a week.
​
-Blood Pressure Medication-please consult with me first about this.
​
-Blood Thinners-you need to be OFF these medications for at least two weeks.
​
-Botox-wait at least two weeks after last injection​
​
-Chemical Peels-wait at least six months
​
-Current Infections-(sinus, UTI, etc.)-wait until infection is cleared up and you MUST be off antibiotics for at least a week.
​
-Dermaplaning-wait at least a week after procedure
​
-Dermatitis/Eczema-must be cleared up COMPLETELY
​
-Diabetes-I will NOT wax you if you have diabetes.
​
-Filler-wait at least two weeks after last injection
​
-Folliculitis-must be cleared up COMPLETELY
​
-Fungus-must be cleared up COMPLETELY
​
-Herpes or Cold Sores-just don't even try. You're gonna have a bad time.
​
-Hidradenitis Suppurativa-wait until this is cleared up. If you take antibiotics for it, you MUST be off them for at least a week.
​
-Laser Facial Treatments-wait a year to wax the area
​
-Lupus-I will NOT wax you if you have Lupus.
​
-Microdermabrasion-wait at least a week after procedure
​
-Microneedling-wait at least two weeks after procedure
​
-Open Wounds-no.
​
-Retin-A-Adapalene, Tretinoin, etc.-wait a week after last application
​
-Self tanner/Spray tan-waxing will take off the pigment. I recommend getting waxed first and then doing self tanner or a spray tan after 24 hours.
​
-Steroids-wait at least a week after finishing medication
-Sunburn or tanning beds-wait until the sunburn has healed and wait 72 hours after tanning
​
-Varicose Veins-I will NOT wax over varicose veins.
​
-Warts-must be cleared up COMPLETELY
*I will go over the above list prior to you before your treatment.

Make sure to bring your current antiperspirant/deodorant for after the service. I do NOT provide any. This limits the chance of skin irritation, since it is a product you're already used to.

*If you need any recommendations for numbing cream, I'm happy to recommend some. Keep in mind it won't work 100%, but can make your wax more comfortable!
